What 'Green Lotus' Represents
Why Green Lotus?
The name Green Lotus represents growth, healing, and resilience.
The color green is often associated with healing, renewal, and growth. It reflects our belief that young people can continue to grow even through difficult experiences.
The lotus flower represents the ability to rise through challenges. Like a lotus that grows through muddy waters and continues to bloom, it symbolizes resilience, transformation, and finding strength after hardship.
Together, Green Lotus represents our mission: creating a space where young people can process their experiences, build connections, and continue growing through life's challenges.

Our Story
Green Lotus was created by two friends who saw a gap in how young people receive support during difficult experiences.
After one of us experienced a traumatic loss of three family members, we saw how hard it was to find a space where we could talk openly about grief and emotions without feeling judged, misunderstood, or like we were burdening others. Over time, we learned that being able to talk through what you are going through with people who genuinely listen can be an important part of healing.
We realized that not everyone has a close friend, support system, or someone they feel comfortable opening up to. Green Lotus was created to help provide that connection: a place where young people can share their experiences, build relationships, and feel supported through life's challenges.
